Biomarker Scientist (Lab Technician)
Basel, Switzerland
Assigned to the Cellular Biomarker Group, you will be responsible for conducting experiments and managing the unit’s extensive range of technical lab activities within this area. In particular, your duties will include developing and validating innovative cell-based assays, the focus being on flow cytometry, proliferation assays, receptor occupancy assays and other related technologies deployed for the purpose of measuring cellular biomarkers. Additionally, your work will extend to immuno-assays, with an emphasis on single ELISA and multiplex-based assays (Luminex, MSD, etc.). The role of Biomarker Scientist will also involve implementing validated biomarker assays in clinical and pre-clinical studies. At the same time, you will be expected to design, perform and oversee specific experiments with minimal supervision. In addition to providing input for data analysis and evaluation, you will be responsible for supervising the process of assay development and implementation at CROs. Finally, the role will involve compiling reports and statistical data.
